Gold Team
ELEMENTARY COMPETITION
Grades: K–5th
Eligibility: No prior experience required
Season: March - May (regular spring season)
June (plus July if qualified for Junior Olympics - summer AAU)
Cost:
March- May $385 (includes local track meet fees)
June - July $100
Additional costs: uniform, AAU card, State, District,
Regional, National track meet fees

What to Expect:
Evaluations in March
2–3 practices per week
5-7 local meets (within 1.5hrs) (April–May)

PLATINUM Team
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL COMPETITION
Grades: 6th–12th (all schools)
*Elementary athletes who didn’t compete on GOLD team may join
but must have coach’s prior approval to join.
Eligibility: Prior competitive track & field experience is required
Season: June (plus July if qualified for Junior Olympics)
Cost:
Registration fee of $180
Additional costs: uniform, AAU card & track meet fees

NON-COMPETITIVE TRAINING PROGRAM

Focus on speed, strength, coordination, and overall fitness, while learning individual track & field events

OFF-SEASON STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLINICS
Grades: K–8th
Season: December–February (specific Sunday clinics)
Cost:
FREE with valid AAU membership
$10 per clinic, only if you don’t have an AAU membership

75-minute clinics (Sundays, 4:15–5:30 PM)

KGE Bronze strength & conditioning clinic
Registration will close the day before each clinic at 9pm. No clinics offered at this time. -
Purpose: Required for insurance and athlete participation. All athletes must have an active membership valid through August of the current year.

SILVER TRAINING:

If required for your team, please order uniforms as soon as possible after the parent/athlete informational meeting on 1/31. Ordering details will be available at the info meeting.
For the GOLD (spring season) team it is best to order no later than Feb. 27th to ensure timely delivery.
For the PLATINUM (summer season) team it is best to order no later than May 15th to ensure timely delivery.

If you are in need of financial assistance, we ask that you take advantage of our sponsorship program.

2. Write in your child's name
3. Take the flyer to a local business or individual who you feel may offer some assistance
4. The business or individual will review and decide if they would like to make a donation to KGE in your child's name
5. The business or individual may give you a check to give to KGE coaches or mail a check to KGE
6. Every dollar of the donation will be applied directly to your athlete's fees
7. Donations raised may cover team registration fees, track meet fees (State, District, Regional and Junior Olympics if qualify), uniforms, AAU membership card fees. Donations may not cover team apparel or travel.
8. Sponsorship donations are not tax-deductible

KGE is committed to making our programs accessible to all families, regardless of financial circumstances. We offer limited scholarships for competition team fees as funding becomes available through donations.
