Coaches Art and Niki were the head coaches for Clark Moores Middle School Track & Field team for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 track seasons. During this time, they were burdened that there was not an elementary-focused track and field club or team for the younger kids in the city. Ideas began to form, they talked with each other and trusted others, prayed a lot and felt the call to start a youth track and field club specifically focused on elementary-aged athletes in Richmond, Kentucky.

KGE was founded in 2023 and started with its inaugural track season in 2024. It was amazing how they were connected with people, saw doors opened, and watched everything come together to form KGE.

Kentucky Golden Eagles Youth Track & Field Club is where passion and purpose meet for Coaches Art and Niki. They are passionate about track and field and youth development, and feel it is part of their purpose to be involved in this work.
